Mumba Bumba Paa
Flying takes on a whole new angle when you fly with someone that is not aware really of what is going on when it happens. It can be quite cute or endearing.
You recall KP and Rethom came flying with me a week ago? Well it was awesome but KP had loads of questions, one of which was, “What’s those words you keep saying when you are flying around talking to the other people, Mumba Bumba Paa?”. I had no clue what she was talking about. Eventually after some debate I figured out what she was describing…
When flying we obviously talk in phonetic alphabet. Alpha Bravo Charlie Delta etc. The aircraft I was flying that day has the registration ZS-MBP. We refer only to the second bit MBP. So when making fast calls in and out I was repeating regularly, Mike Bravo Pappa which was then misunderstood as Mumba Bumba Paa.
Ever since, we have joked about flying with this new name and today we went for another Mumba Bumba! That almost sounds a bit Mile Highish :-p
The flight was so kewl. 4 up. Me, KP, LNELL and Butt. We went east this time towards Port Alfred and saw a fabulous school of dolphins.
Maybe my last flight for a bit. 
Tusker time
A few kilometers up the road from the worlds best pie is the Eastern Cape home of the African elephant, Addo Elephant National Park.
This incredibly scenic drive brings you within feet of the mesmorising giant of the African plains. The African elephant is one of the largest in the world and is so majestic and commands respect.
A great few hours if you get the chance.

Up on the N2 towards Port Alfred is a little (scratch that, massive since they upgraded) farm stall called Nanaga.
I swear to you they make the worlds best pies!
Don’t trust me, try it for yourself.
KP – The Lion Tamer
A trip to South Africa is not complete without a stop at one of the many lion parks scattered around the country and have a few photos taken with some uber cute lion cubs. They may be small but they bite like hell and have serious claws already. They are just having fun but don’t know their own strength. Such good fun!
Not just crazy, INSANE!
You remember a few days ago when KP threw herself off a perfectly good bridge at the worlds highest bungy? Well her first words afterwards were “I will NEVER do anything as crazy as this, EVER again”.
In typical female style exercising her prerogative to change her mind, yesterday she asked me if she could jump again. Who am I to deny a mental patient their wish? So here we are.
Back at Bloukrans. Back at the worlds highest 216m bungy jump.
