As I look back on the fiasco I have to laugh at the sheer lack of sense it all made. Turkish Airlines was the brunt of my fury for a few days and rightly so. Even though their cock-up and lack of communication gave me a free holiday in Istanbul for a night on the way to South Africa, I still don’t believe it makes up for it.
