Tomorrow is a day off for us. Officially. It’s a project stand-down to recognize the end of Ramadan and begin the feast of Eid. So do we get a long weekend off? Hell no. We have to come back to work on Saturday. And to ensure that, we still have the morning staff management meeting. No chance to skive either. Humph.
I’m trying to think of things we can do to occupy our minds and souls for day but there are a few issues that cannot be overcome:
- We are stuck up in the mountains
- No point driving to Tirana for one day only to return tomorrow night
- The weather is getting bad so minimal likelihood of exploring the surroundings
- Not enough women on site to start a good game of naked twister
- No restaurants for fine wining and dining to burn a few hours
- The office will be locked so we cant even work!
