I am so happy I finally found this! I 1st heard this in an amazing training class at Rapport Int’l – however then I started listening to an audio “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. A WHOLE new meaning now! I highly suggest the book, audio or movie. I believe every bit of it & has changed my mind & remembered this piece – there more then just words here…………love – I am over abundantly filled with joy and love and so on the right track now – I”m speechless! It’s a much & highly suggest reading Joel Osteen’s 1st book along with all above, it all ties together!

Bec – I know what you mean. I looked high and low for it after attending a similar course of sorts. My mother eventually tracked it down and gave me the copy that I am now sending around the world. What a world this place would be if every stranger helped each other. Maybe even South Africans would be allowed to be mates with Aussies? 8) Tall order I know! This was played during “class night” the year my brother graduated high school in 1987. I have never been able to forget those words and Mr. Olivier’s voice makes them all that much more haunting. Does anyone know if it is available for download anywhere? It has such special meaning for me. I had a cassette tape of it from that night but it has since deteriorated. I heard this incredible piece a few days ago on the radio and trying to buy it just resulted in wierd looks. Not only would I like to have a copy on hand for myself but I would also like to send it to my oldest daughter (she has her own family now and lives over 2000k’s away unfortunately). Anyway, I realise you may be ‘over’ sending this onto everyone however with hat in hand I am asking if you could send a copy to me. You seem to have a pretty good network here in Oz but I see in your travel dump youv’e only made it to Perth so far?? So close Hoox, so close. I mean the west coast is okay but the east coast should be your next target. I’m afraid my trip to Aus came after a 6 month backpack across the USA (if you see the timeline) so by the time I got there I was FLAT BROKE! MEANING OF THE LAW OF PROBENATION
According to David Soames, who co-wrote the show:
“The law of probenation is a play on the word “probation” which is handed out to a criminal by the British courts, it means that they are on probation to behave themselves otherwise the court will call them back and impose a custodial sentence on said criminal for whatever crime they may have commited!”

Josh – The answer is closer than you think. Look up a couple of comments. 8) It is a common question because its a made up word. It seems all versions of the text show the word “provination” but the explanation that I found online describes the word “probenation” which is a play on the word “probation”. Poetic license and all that. And that is all I could come up with I’m afraid. I was on the phone last night to a very good friend of mine I guess seeking help with my journey through life. I have just recently at the age of 57 discovered the spiritual side of myself. Slowly but surely this person I have found in me will be me completely. I love being this person. At this time I’m going through the painful side of seperation with the woman I love. She is seeing to her needs and needs time & space to do this. I can’t see how the issues between us can be resolved but that’s not what I am here for. My friend read me this piece called “Time” and I fell in love with it immediately. I have read it so many times and have absorbed everyword. Thank you for I guess bringing it to light within my friend and thank you from me. It’s message is a simple but powerful one which I know will help me live the simple life I crave. Please forward the CD TIME to me? I imported it from the UK years ago, and then it was stolen shortly afterwards. Sinde then, I could not find a copy again, despite two trips abroad …and was told it is no longer available….. PLEASE, could you help me? Thank you SO much and best regards.

This has been played in some of the Silva Method classes I’ve attended; the instructor has it on an old cassette tape, but we couldn’t find it anywhere we’ve searched. It is so inspiring and demands self analysis, which is often a very good thing. I could listen to it every day! Can it be downloaded on a CD? (I know, I’m behind times!)

Hi, My mother phoned me this morning and told me about Time – From Sir Laurence Olivier. I’ve been searching the NET now for hours and would love a MP3 version for her. She is almost 80 years old but a very wise woman. She has a body better than Jane Fonda and a Mind that would give you any day a go. She and my Dad is the Best. I love them Both dearly and they Have both had hard times with me and my sister which is older but not easier to put up with than me. We’re a close family and I just want to spoil her and send her this MP3. I know she only have this on an old record.

I was lucky enough to see ‘TIME – the Musical’ in London when it was at The Dominican Theatre in the 1980′s. I went to see it twice as it was so brilliant. I did have the origional sound track, but now, unfortunately, what with the demise of vinyl, it has been mislaid.
I loved the sentiment behind these words then, but now, as I look more towards the phylosophy of Buddhism, these word mean even more to me. Please, Please, Please, if you are still able, could you please send me a copy too?
