“In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes“- Benjamin Franklin
“A rather fatalistic and sardonic proverb. It draws on the actual inevitability of death to highlight the difficulty in avoiding the burden of taxes”.

April 5th 2007. Today is the day that I officially “beat” the UK tax system. Today I am officially UK non-resident. Today I am officially UK tax exempt! This means that today, every penny I have earned since October 05, is officially tax free. I am officially UK tax free.
I’m saying “today” and “officially” a lot aren’t I? Hip Hip - Hooray.
Thank you Chancellor Gorden Brown. You have great tax rules! One of the many benefits of working in shithole backward environments but based out of a London office. Viva project life! Now I can go home. I have no home!
I beat taxes.
At what cost?
Now all I have to do is beat death.
Any ideas?
