Genre: Comedy
The plot: Saving Grace is about a small-town English widow, facing financial troubles after her husband's death, decides to grow weed to make ends meet.
My 5c worth: Fantastic. I love a good comedy. It’s quite honestly one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Its jam packed with excellent British humour (most of which we had to translate for our dear American friends) and some hilarious witty comments. If you understand British humour you will piss yourself! It’s not an overly complicated story line which suited me just fine after a gruelling day at the office. Definitely worth a watch even if it’s just for a Sunday night kick back on the couch. An unconfirmed comment was made at the viewing: “This movie is even better if you spark up just as you hit play”. I'm not quite sure what was meant by that (??).
Rating: 9/10 (a must see)
Viewing Conditions: Outside with a projector and portable speakers. 10 – 12 people present. After dark (+- 9pm). Continuous interruptions from Blackhawks, Pumas and Chinooks landing next door. Loads of booze.
