• 2 cases of beer?
• A CBS News report?
• The smallest number with 10 divisors?
• The original number of USA states pre Alaska and Hawaii?
• The average virus incubation period?
• "Cadmium" on the periodic table?

How about 48 Degrees Celcius??? Thats right! That's what the temperature is right now in this pit. Let me try to explain what 48 feels like.

• Its like opening a heated oven
• You cant breathe
• Your skin burns
• Your eyes dry out
• You have to squint to see anything
• Your kneecaps and fingernails sweat
• Headaches are common
• Walking uses too much energy
• Eating uses too much energy
• Thinking uses too much energy
• The exhaust fan of an airconditioner is cooler than a gentle breeze
• The inside of an airconditioned office feels like an igloo (I would imagine??)
• Time slows down, drags, stops
• Ice cold water left out for 5 minutes becomes similar to a warm cup of tea
• Heatstroke and dehydration are a real concern

Not bad for a lovely spring morning in BadGag. I have been assured that July / August reaches 58!!! (I'll keep you posted). Its no real surprise this place gets referred to as hell. Well at least that's one reason….
